Why Are/Were So Many Children Crossing the Border? Update!
Resumé: Retired Reverend Tom Buechele, served for 9 years as the Border Missioner for the Episcopal Diocese of Arizona. He has worked with southern border immigration issues since the 1960's. His ministry locations have included Iowa, Arizona, Mexico, El Salvador and Guatemala. He is fully bi-lingual in Spanish/English and has also worked for the Legal and Public Defender offices in Arizona and Iowa regarding incarceration issues and court interpreting. Tom previously presented this topic at a Sunday Forum at Trinity Episcopal Church in Ashland.
